Breast Cancer Awareness Month: A Reminder to Check, Care & Support
Every October, pink carries a little more meaning.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to come together, to honour those we have lost, stand beside those currently facing breast cancer, celebrate survivors, and recognise the families, friends, nurses, researchers and communities who support them along the way.
Among the pink ribbons, fundraising and conversations that come with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there is one message we hope every woman takes with her beyond October: please make time for your health.
At Montique, we’re doing our part by starting conversations within our team, checking in with one another, spreading awareness and reminding the women around us to prioritise their health and we want to extend that same reminder to our community. Early detection matters. Breast screening can find breast cancers before they can be seen or felt, and finding breast cancer earlier can improve the chances of successful treatment.

Whether it’s a donation, an hour of your time, sharing a resource or simply reaching out to someone you care about, every contribution has meaning. This October, check in on the women around you, a simple conversation can be a meaningful reminder to prioritise their health.
